Bi-Monthly Parents of Adolescents (RAD) Group-Meets 2nd and 4th Wed. of Each Month
Group temporarily on hold. Sign-up for our email list to receive updated information
You are invited to attend our RAD (Raising Adolescents Drug Free), self-help group for parents (see flyer). The group offers parents methods for helping an adolescent child resist drug and alcohol use and become more motivated to receive help if they are already in the abuse or experimentation phase. There is no charge for this meeting and all parents and other interested family members are welcome to attend.
Studies show that 90% of all alcoholics and addicts started using in their teen years. You cannot stop your children from trying alcohol or drugs, but you may be able help reduce the benefits your child gets from their use. This is the concept we explore in the group.
